San Diego Veterans Coalition
The San Diego Veterans Coalition (SDVC) is the region’s go-to convener of organizations, resources, and governments seeking to serve Veterans and their families. In April 2018, the SDVC Board of Directors engaged Intesa to lead a communications planning workshop in an effort to strategically align their goals, messages, audiences, and infrastructure.
Intesa founding partner Margie Newman led the four-hour-long session, and ensured that all SDVC board member and staff opinions were heard and validated, and that the time together was productive.
Together, the group discussed the SDVC’s strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for growth and service. A detailed follow-up memo outlined Intesa’s recommendations for priorities, messaging, action steps, and methods for holding stakeholders and staff accountable.
The SDVC remains committed to providing engaging education and facilitating important programs and events that add value to the Veteran community. Intesa is proud to have provided support and guidance for the SDVC that enhanced their overall collaborative impact model, as well as their messaging, to those they serve.
