SAN DIEGO — Maddy Kilkenny has joined Intesa Communications Group as a partner, and as a founder of the full-service public relations firm’s new lobby practice representing client government relations interests across the greater San Diego Region.
Kilkenny brings more than 15 years of experience to the role, managing day-to-day client activities and developing and implementing government and community relations programs. Prior to joining Intesa, Kilkenny served as Vice President of Government Relations at The Clay Company, where her clients included a wide array of health, technology and corporate clients.
Kilkenny also has extensive experience with the County of San Diego, where she was a Senior Policy Advisor to Supervisor Greg Cox from 2003 to 2010, focusing on health and public safety policy issues, community outreach, and special events. She is Secretary of the Board of Directors of Reality Changers, and serves as Co-Chair of the annual South Bay Community Services “Change Their Lives” gala.
Intesa also proudly announces the promotion of Matt Morse from director of its Washington D.C. office, to director of company-wide digital strategy. Over the course of his career, Morse has worked with dozens of high profile non-profit organizations, directly managing the development of websites and smartphone applications as well as structuring the digital strategy and team structure for large organizations.
Morse has served Intesa’s D.C.-based clients for the past two years. In his new role, Matt will lead digital strategy for the firm’s complete roster of clients across the country.
