August 3, 2018 – SAN DIEGO — Intesa Communications Group is celebrating another major recognition in the family as Account Manager Haley Peterson has been named among San Diego Business Journal’s 2018 “Next Top Business Leaders Under 40.” The annual award honors professionals in San Diego County making notable contributions to their industry and community.

The Next Top Business Leaders Under 40 reception and awards presentation will be held Tuesday, August 14 from 4:00-7:00pm at The Weston Gaslamp Quarter, and will mark the third year in a row that a member of the Intesa team has been recognized for excellence by a San Diego publication. The company’s founding partner, Margie Newman, was named among SD Metro’s“40 under 40” cohort in 2016, and partner Maddy Kilkenny was named to the same prestigious list in 2017.

Haley joined Intesa in October of 2017 and manages North County projects that serve a variety of government relations and community outreach clients. Before joining Intesa, Haley spent six years working with local, state, and federal partners, as well as with the non-profit and private sectors as Director of Community Affairs for County Supervisor Bill Horn at the County of San Diego. She is a graduate of CSU San Marcos Leadership North County program and earned a credential from the California State Association of Counties (CSAC) for excellence in Senior Leadership for County Government. She is also a member of the San Diego Young Leaders and was previously named one of Vista Chamber of Commerce’s “40 under 40 best and brightest.”

“Haley is everything you want in a team member.  She brings a tremendous skillset to the table.  More importantly, she brings her work ethic, wit, and charm to every project,”  said Intesa partner Maddy Kilkenny.

“Haley Peterson brings a uncommon sense of organizational awareness to any team.  She has great experience and is a wonderfully skilled catalyst who will make any team successful.  Whether you are taking on a new project or mission area or just working to get better at what you already do, Haley is a great asset and a delightful coach to any leader,” said Jude Litzenberger, Executive Director California Veterans Legal Task Force and Immediate Past President, San Diego Veterans Coalition.

A resident of Oceanside, Haley loves the beach and is a doting mother to her Golden Retriever, Winston, who has reportedly given her most recent recognition “two-paws-up” and several tail wags. Her contributions to both Intesa and the greater San Diego community make her a leader to watch. The Intesa team can’t wait to see what’s next for this top business leader!
